I have a kitten who was having horrible messy stools. I tried probiotics the expensive grain free food with no sign of improvement. After a week on this he is getting so much better. I had researched that with tummy issues limited ingredients are better. This has truly been a life saver for me. I was completely exhausted from continually cleaning up a messy stinky kitty and litter box. Will continue to purchase this food.
Walmart store brand. Actually has a good ingredient list, cats like it. Unfortunately it is only available online to me.
I have a cat that is allergic to wheat. She gets hotspots and itchy ears. This food works great. All of my cats eat it now.
My cat developed a food allergy and after trying different brands and flavors, this was the one that he eats very well and helped his allergy. He had lost fur around his legs and sides from where he licked himself, but his fur has now grown back and he does not scratch or lick himself excessively anymore. Price is a little high, but it's very much worth it and it's less expensive than some other brands that are also limited ingredient. Only downside is that I can only get the 12lb bag online, but I can pick it up in store so it works out ok. Very happy with this brand.
My cat loves Pure Balance Turkey & Sweet Potatoes. She has been on Pure Balance for 2 years now. Before then, I bought her food at pet stores at a much higher price. A friend recommended Pure Balance as her many cats love it also and is such a quality food at a good price. My cat's coat has improved on Pure Balance; it is so full, soft and shiny. Beware, dogs also love to sneak this cat food-- my dogs watch to see if I'll leave the room while the cat food is down, but I'm wise to them now! They get Pure Balance Dog Food and thrive on it.
We have three kitties and one has allergies to food. We have tried many brands and ingredients and this Pure Balance Limited Ingredient did the trick. Our local Walmart does not stock this large 12 lb. bag, so I love that I can order a few of them on-line and then have them shipped to my local store for free. They send an e-mail notifying me when it's ready to be picked up. Please keep this product available to order!!
My 10 month old cat has a VERY sensitive tummy and this is the only food that has worked for her. What I love about it, beside that, is that it's good for kittens and adult cats. We have an adult cat, so didn't want to do kitten food, or the adult cat would also eat it. This was the answer to all our problems. It's a bit expensive, but worth it if my kitty is doing well.
I had switched to Blue Buffalo Life Protection for both my 7 cats and my 2 dogs.....they liked it but when I found this Pure Balance and compared the ingredients...Pure Balance is better than the Blue.....They say the first 5 listed ingredients are the most important....well take a look at both and compare. Pure is WAY better. I just wish they made the cat food flavors in every size bag like they do the dog food. I have 7 cats....that puny 4 pound bag will last a week! I want the big 22 pound bag like the make in the dog food
My cats found this food awesome! They were more energetic, their coat was getting softer and they totally loved the taste. I am only giving this product a 1 star because I found out they are no longer going to be stocking this in the store and I had to put my cats on another food. This food was the best for my cats and now we can't get it anymore unless we want to wait a week for it to ship to the store and my cats go without food! Thanks a lot Walmart!
I have 4 indoor cats. They hate it but since they are going to have to eat it till I can travel to buy Good Life cat food. Walmart usually carries Good Life but this was the only non gmo that they had. I will tell you it smells horrible! That cats won't touch it. I had to mix Meow Mix with it before they would even consider and my cats are not finicky. When you pay this much for a 7 pound bag of cat food, you want you cats to eat it. I am VERY disappointed in the nasty smelling cat food! When you buy food for your cats, you have to be trusting because you can't smell it. This is as bad as Rachael Ray that I bought for my dog and had to throw away.
